Does anyone else look forward to autumn / winter arriving so we can see the nice ladies winter coats coming out ?

I'm always on the lookout for the first sighting.

I'm talking nice expensive long winter coats , not jackets or puffers.

I like to think what the linings are like. I love satin linings. The best ones of course, are the coats that are not buttoned up, so I can get a glimpse of the lining.

OR, maybe , the best ones are those coats fastened up, which lets the imagination run riot !

Only a couple of months or so now to September . I'll be looking for the early bird !

I look forward to it. Its already winter here although with Corona, lockdowns and people working from home there isnt many about.

I too look forward to cool weather when the women start wearing their winter satin lined coats, but styles have changed here in the states. The good old days of the long wool and cashmere satin lined coats are mostly gone. The women just don't wear those styles much anymore and if they do the linings are usually cheap nylon , not sexy acetate satin. Thank goodness for second hand stores and Ebay.

Can't wait for all this hot weather to end and cold weather to start. Get the ladies in their coats ASAP.
Not sure if anyone lives or goes into London but it is like heaven walking through the city and getting on trains with women dressed in smart suits with long overcoats on.
I'm counting down the minutes, literally lol.

I love winters in Alaska a lot different styles to look at
