Hi my honest opinion is make her realise that both of you can do this, an get her to realise that seeing her looking stunning in satin, it took me a bit to get used to it l I convinced myself that I wSnt enough for him but I was totally wrong it had everything to do with me , I gave him the balls to wear satin coats everyday wear shirts (not quite soft enough lol)
I've just got him a sewing machine so that we can make our own things ! I hate the fashion now it's all lace an not nice materials (jeans) you could have tight fitting satin jeans!

It takes two things; time and patience. I told my girlfriend of now 4 years about my fetish in July and she put her foot down about ever getting involved in my fetish because she thought I would be more focused and more obsessed with the satin and just see her as an object. I have spent hours talking to her about it trying to convince her that it's her I want and the satin is just a fetish object to me. Turns out before Christmas in her uni lectures they got into dept about fetishes (fuck knows how when she's doing an art degree!) And it got her mind a bit more open. I'm not expecting your partner to do go into a lecture about fetishes but just give her time to reflect on the situation. For Christmas I bought her a satin nightie and she actually loved it she wore it for me on our 4 year anniversary as a couple and she felt comfortable in it and said she would wear it more often if we had our own place all I'm saying is she ain't going to be all on board and wanting to wank you off with satin the day you tell her but give her time and I'm sure you'll both come out in the end smiling away I hope this helped!
