I'm interested to find out, as user names are pretty much ambiguous, how the number of men with this fetish compare with the number of women on this forum? I get the feeling it seems to be predominantly a male thing but perhaps i'm wrong. Please, enlighten me!! Are there women out there that also get off on wearing silk and satin?

You actually make a very good point and is one that I rasied myself not so long ago. Why should women want or indeed need to talk about their feelings through a closeted forum such as this. For many years now women have been free to wear what they want, express emotion any way they desire and in general live life to the full without any fear of ridicule or dersiory. For years women fought for equal rights well I say it's now time that men were afforded such equal rights and amongst those rights there should be the right to wear whatever they want and the right to express themselves any way they want. If a women gets a job as managing director in the boadroom and wears a power suit she is admired and respected but if a man gets a job as a nurse or a hairdresser (no offence intended to anyone) and goes to work wearing a floral satin shirt he, more than likely, is going to be branded a sissy.

Well, I love wearing satin, and I also like it if guys do too.
Whereas my husband loves it when I wear satin, but he'd not that keen on wearing it himself (though I have bought him several pair of satin boxers).

If you mean, for a romantic relationship - then, I've no idea! I've been married a long time...
But, if you mean, for sexy fun - then I think it's quite easy.
