Slip Patterns

I wonder if there are any others who have my passion for "old slip patterns" from way back when slips were an everyday garment and a lot of women made their own clothes, I find the pictures fasinating and also the many different styles there were!
Not only that, but the materials were before modern ones had been introduced and silk and satin were very common, most women had satin slips hanging in their wardobes and lying so neatly, ironed and folded in lingerie drawers in dressing tables!
I remember opening my mothers underwear drawer and finding it filled with slips and french panties that she wore and of course I could not resist caressing her silk and satin undies, so many beautiful garments from the 50s!
Anyway, I am getting myself all excited again!
