Yes my wife has indulged me but I really had to take her through it step by step then it wasn't as sexy.
So the next few times she did it and it was sexy then I think she felt awkward and probably bored of it and it really tailed off as she seemed to loose interest.

Well I have had a few partners over the years, and they have all indulged me to different degrees. I would say that most go along with it rather than enjoy it for themselves, although there is one ex-girlfriend who definately was the most willing of them all by far.

Most so-called women I have chatted to on-line who are into it are just guys pretending to be gals. I mean it's so obvious, right ? I only know of one who has me utterly convinced, but she has not been on-line much recently unfortunately.

I quite agree. If it was an unrequited 'love' then one shouldn't pursue it with one's SO.

I totally agree; those same CD's get that very same sense of well-being, being pampered and feeling special, too. I certainly do.

I'm about 50/50 with the dressing/stimulation these days and that used to be way more skewed. From my interest at age 6 or 7, there was a steady climb, peaking at around 30-35, and it's now decreasing slowly, but there are still occasions when, say, a new purchase comes with provenance of some kind whereby the item simply becomes something "taboo" as you say, ergo triggering the stimulation and fetishism and that's then also "my dept."; my Wife doesn't see the fabric as sexual either.

Also like you, my Wife is somewhat blind-sided to my dressing other than to sometimes mention that I'm on a satin overload day, which happens a fair bit, and she finds that quite amusing (in a nice way).

Very interesting the brain wiring that goes on. My attractions to satins began around age 3, my Mom used to store her formals in my bedroom closet. My wife theorizes that I was not held or shown much physical affection when I was young. I had a juvvy older brother who dominated the family's attention, so her theory is I used silks and satins to provide myself with the nurturing that I did not receive from my family (I guess that I also over-compensated in school and sports). Obviously during adolescence, it became a very different kind of nurturing.
