Satin Fetish Forum

I figured I'd post something new here and share something that's on my mind recently that I'm sure some people could relate to within this forum.

As of the past couple of months, I have been most noticeably absent from the forums. Nothing against the forums as I do check in from time to time and I have absolutely no issues with anyone in the forum. Part of it is the fact that some other users haven't frequently been online, those who I liked to chat with. I still have a few PM's waiting in my outbox that have yet to be delivered to those who has yet to see them and still wonder if they'll ever get back on.

The biggest reason why I'm not on that much is that I wound up getting a second job part time alongside getting a promotion at my full time job so I have been really busy.

I'd love to update you guys on my recent acquisitions as of late but once they arrive, i hardly have time to prepare them for sharing.

My question is this...has any of you on here that have frequently signed in here before have that timeframe where it's not as much as you have before? I'd love to hear everyones thoughts on it!

I'll do my best to get online when I can and I do hope to great back from those who have yet to see my PM's. If anything, double check the inbox to see if the inbox is full as they hold up to 50 ay the most. That's one of the reasons why they're not delivering.

I don't come on here nearly as much as I used to, so you're not the only one.

I do come here from time to time but I log out within seconds, reason being unavailability of some good friends with whom I have had some interesting conversations. I do keep sending pm just to keep in touch selective individuals.

Yes, me too!! I've been busy with other stuff, I have quite a lot of stuff that would be of interest to post on this forum but when I do come on, to be honest I am uninspired due to the lack of activity on here in general.

Has everyone found a new forum to populate I wonder??

I think - at least it is for me - it's a combinations of things;

• Yes, I'm busier
• Yes, the forum is quite quiet and like satinlover1987 mentioned, I also tend to log in/out quickly.
• Yes, there are other forums... well... not specifically satin but places like Fetlife, Birchplace and the like that also take up my time, as well as my Flickr, Xtube, Usenet... yadayaada it takes time to visit them all and I too work full time, and I don't spend evenings looking at anything remotely fetish based as my kids are about!

Basically, it's about numbers; the low % of satin fetishists/enthusiasts out there, down to stuff like how many hours are in the day, and how much time one can devote to the more fun things like these and other forums.

I check in a good 4 or 5 time a week still, though.

I do know that if the forum became a bit more clothing fetish/cum on clothing/varieties of different clothing (sub-sections, if you will) then it would pull more visitors. For example there are shiny clothing sites that include the lycra and spandex contingent, there are fur fetish, sweater fetish (another of my kinks) and long hair fetish forums. Fetlife is one such place that addresses multi-fetish scenes in one platform, but is less accessible than a forum in many ways, but then it is also a serious contender for people who want more from satin fetishism! Just throwing it out there! Effectively, a clothing paraphilia forum to include many subsections including satin, could work in such a way that say, Fetlife couldn't (it's more personalised and more involved with regard to padding profiles like you would on Facebook.) All that said, I don't mean this forum needs to change or evolve to encompass more clothing paraphilias, just that it could do and perhaps to good effect, in building a strong clothing fetish community where we may find interest in other categories. I know most of us are into more than just satin!

I don't post very often, but I do visit quite often. I frikkin love satin!! haha

Other fetishes would be kinda cool, but I really like that this forum is strictly satin.

My only other fetish is perfume, and I'm surprised it isn't discussed here more often.
There is NOTHING finer than perfume and satin together.
