Younger Satin Any Legal Issues?

I purchased a couple satin lined Columbia winter jacket's. They are used but belonged to kids at some point. The satin in these jackets feel softer than "older"lined satin but I'm wondering if I should feel any guilt regarding this? It should be fine as long as they are not attached to any children. I like them for their size and "fit" for the purpose. So is kids satin taboo are not allowed or should I not really worry about it? Thanks
[moderator edit: there are certainly moral issues and possibly legal ones too. The topic has now been locked as it is not in the forum's interest to have the discussion here]

Just some advice: avoid it like it was going to explode!
A line must be drawn - not least for the good of the forum (and, yes, I'm a newcomer, here, I acknowledge) - and if a fetish moves you in the direction of kids' clothes, you need to get a grip and back it off.
Also, indulgence in a fetish that extends to children's clothing is like a sign, to paedophiles, that says, "See? You're not as evil as you thought!" They are evil...as evil as we all ever thought.
Protect yourself, the forum and children everywhere and try to find a less self-damning avenue regarding satin. No matter what a fetish is, it should never involve any aspect/s of children, directly or indirectly.
Like I said...it's just a well-intended, knee-jerk opinion.

I purchased these just for that reason and I didn't mean to say that these are linked to children. Merely that "the fit" and feel is all I'm concerned about. They are more "portable" than larger sizes and easier to pack away. There is no way shape or form that I'm moving a fetish to anything that is related to kids! I mentioned out of reference because of the size only.

James2k50, Since you already questioned it yourself, it seems like you already answered your own question. If you were ok with it, there would be no need to ask the question. You would just make your own decision.

I think that there might be a bit of "paedophilia paranoia" going on here. I watched a children's Disney cartoon DVD the other night, on my own. I've also read a Harry Potter book, (aimed at children.) Does that mean that I should be worried about some deep seated, latent passions I may have?
A piece of satin is a piece of satin, whether it is made into the lining of an adults coat or a child's coat.
If it is the materiel itself that gives the satisfaction then fine. If, on the other hand, it leads to thoughts of the child wearing it, then that should be raising some concerns.
In the UK today most adult males are afraid of even looking at a child for fear of being branded a "paedo", with at times, tragic consequences. A couple of years ago a young child wandered off from home and ended up falling into and drowning in a neighbours pond. Regrettably, a van driver saw the child and was concerned but was afraid to stop for the reasons I've just stated.
Most cases of child abuse occur within the family. Unfortunately, thanks to the J. Saville case, it has all been stoked up to an even higher level now.

They say "opinions are like a--holes...everybody has one" so I'm gonna say this...first of all, I can see both sides to this topic. However, I am a parent of a daughter (grown up now) and am involved with a woman at this time whom has 2 teenage girls at home. They love showing me their dance and prom dresses, and I do most of their event photography. Though I have never experienced the pleasure of jacket linings, in my search for dresses, I have seen some young girl dresses that may have provided some enjoyment, but.....no way. I personally could not use a dress like that knowing a child wore it. I don't mean to insinuate that anybody that does or can has pedophile tendencies, each of you knows what is in your own mind. Anybody that would use clothing imagining a child in it has went WELL beyond the "normal" fetish and should seriously re-evaluate themselves.
