I just ordered this set on Sunday. Satin robe and long night gown -- my favorite combination. It's due to be delivered tomorrow. I have a business trip scheduled for next week and this will be my night time fun. I just can't wait until it arrives. I was thinking about waiting until I was in my hotel room to pull it out for the first time, but I don't know if I have that kind of self control.

Look through this thread and you'll see that I'm not a huge fan of cumming on the dresses I own either, unless I have multiples or I got it real cheap, or if I don't really care for it. Hi Titus. Did you read the thread "Why do we love silk / satin???" ?

In it, I suggested that a fetish is very probably something we are born with, which could make it extremely difficult to "give up". I thought that I could/would "grow out of it" when I left home to join the RN. Although there were longish periods when I couldn't indulge my fetish or even much time to think about it, it never really left me. As soon as I was able to, I went back to it.

I would hope that by following the various threads on here that you can come to realise that you have nothing to feel guilty about. I too have gone through periods of guilt/self loathing/disgust but not any more. I would be embarrassed if a relative somehow caught me unawares and managed to get in here but to be honest, I'm more ashamed of the fact that I would be embarrassed.

I believe that trying to give up your fetish could cause you the same degree of anguish as, for example, a young gay guy trying to be straight.

Can I ask how old you are?

Much like yourself, I've thought about ditching my fetish in the early years before I learned that it's normal. I realized, with me, it could and would never happen. I can tell you that the blue dress above is polyester satin, I know this as I have 4 identicle and a few in other colours, it is however one of the nicest feeling polyesters I have felt, which is the main reason I have so many of them

alhb is correct. It's Polyester, but the Caché and Betsy & Adam dresses like this have the best feeling Polyester out of all of my dresses. It's the reason why I have so many of them as well, plus I like the ombré colors.

I think the Dina Bar-El dresses that looks nearly identical to the Cache dress above is 100% silk. Either that or Issue New York. I remember seeing one like that in one of those brands and they were pure silk.
