So, I don’t know if you guys have noticed this trend in fashion over the last few years where girls (and especially celebrities) are essentially just wearing lingerie out and nothing else. They call them “Slip Dresses”, but they’re just satin nighties or nightgowns. See pictures below of Charli XCX and Rita Ora sporting these below. By the way, I totally think they have Satin fetishes, especially Charli. She wears Satin A LOT.


I don’t know about you, but the fact that girls are going out and buying older / vintage lingerie to wear them out without anything else on (except maybe a thong), is extremely sexy.

And you can certainly tell if it’s the good old quality stuff. The stuff today just doesn’t even compare.

So I found a listing where a sexy girl was selling a “Slip Dress”. Now, it was of course just a Gillian & O’Malley satin nighty that she must’ve repurposed for her nights out, but once she posted pictures of herself wearing it, I couldn’t resist. Had to have it. It looks very similar to the one Rita is wearing. Pics below!

I Bought some new Satin Prom dresses too :

This next dress is unique. The girl took her full-length hot pink satin prom dress and had it shortened for her prom. I would have preferred that it was full-length, but the price was right. Hot pink satin inside & out!

One last one, for now. I talked to old fellow Satin Forum Member Destroy about shopping at GoodWill for prom dresses. I am going to try and muster up the courage to go this weekend. To get excited, I’ve been watching videos of girls on YouTube doing the same thing. The dress below that a girl found was featured in one of the videos :
