In the end, it's down to members forcing themselves to reply to posts, if they don't want to do any posting, themselves. It's not a huge job to do, and it makes posters feel like there was more point in them posting in the first place.

Also, the more you post, or post a reply, the more others will be inclined to join in.

Look what happened to this thread...it grew, just from folks identifying with the shyness in posting - but, y' know...we posted replies, anyway.

People are almost inevitably far cleverer than they think they are, and they have a lot to offer in their thoughts...they just have no confidence in what they know, or in their own opinions.

Posters and repliers are crucial to any forum...so...post/reply.

I have to agree. I’ve been lurking here for a very long time, but many of the discussion topics are just too blatantly crude for me, and I don’t connect with those experiences so therefore I don’t comment much.
