I really liked silkysatidbed's thoughts on this and in particular that we should see it as a very positive thing, that we are the fortunate ones to have this desire.

Also liked the comment about not taking in harmful chemicals with their attendant problems, thinking particularly of alcohol related fights and crime on our streets on a Friday / Saturday night and alcohol fuelled family abuse. There is certainly no clogging up A and E Depts and no cost to the NHS/taxpayer.

It is also a private activity and nobody else need be involved though this does add to the excitement !
