Funny story :

I messaged a girl about seeing pictures of a dress being worn as always. She stupidly responded "Sorry it was only worn once and I haven't fit into it since I was 18", which is not the question I asked. So to which of course I asked "Do you have any pictures of when you did wear it?" To which she replied, and this is honestly and surprisingly the first time (maybe second at most) that someone has responded this way, but she said :

That made me laugh so hard! The dress is selling for super-cheap, so I honestly hope that I win the dress, and then once I get it home and shoot all over it, I'm going to leave her negative feedback and write "Umm this creep just UNLOADED all over your dress"!

Lol that's pretty funny. I'm always paranoid of the seller responding that way, so I make sure to be clear with her that I want the pics just to check out the sizing.

I'm afraid that I'm going to have to side with the seller on this one. Who can blame a young woman not wanting to send pics of herself from several years ago to someone she doesn't know? Would you want your daughter sending pics to anyone who asks?

If I have tried to get pics of a potential purchase being worn I am always very careful how I word it and always suggest that they "cut off the heads" or obliterate faces by some other means. They very often leave them but I think that it reassures them.

I don't think that her refusal to send the pics was unreasonable but maybe her language was unnecessary. However, aren't you just going to convince her that she was right if you go ahead with your plan? All she has to do then is hit the Ebay user forums and warn other sellers to beware of buyers asking for pics of dresses being worn as they are most likely going to be pervy creeps.

It could lead to it becoming even harder to get the pics.
