Re: COAT LININGS
Hi everyone — been reading this thread quietly for ages.
I’ve always thought there’s something strangely emotional about coat linings — that sound and feel when the fabric shifts, especially when it’s satin or nylon. It’s like a private world no one else sees.
For me, it started when I was a kid — that first cold morning, sliding into a winter coat that still smelled faintly of the outside air, the lining smooth and almost electric against bare wrists. It never stopped meaning something.
I ended up writing about that — not in a “fetish story” way exactly, but more about how texture and memory tangle together. How something as simple as a lining can carry shame, comfort, or longing all at once.
Anyway, just wanted to say how good it is to see others talk about this side of it. Sometimes it feels like no one else gets how deep that connection goes.
(Will share a bit more when things are ready — for now, just glad to finally say hello.)
