Princess Dianas satin influences to other women

As well as Dianas exquisite tastes in ballgowns and evening dresses, does anyone else remember her day to day wear and how she would always try and incorporate at least some satin into every outfit?
She was well documented as loving feminine silks and satins. I always remember just how inspired my 3 sisters were by her and I think thats why they wore so much satin at the time. I think now we have no one like Diana and thats why women wearing satin is on the decline. Your views?

Finally,for now, although its not silk or satin, it is still wonderfully feminine. Diana loved stitched down, calf length, all round pleated skirts, as did I. So so feminine!!
