Is it just me or do any other readers out there get a thrill out of going to the hairdressers and being asked to slip into a full length silky protective gown? As for me I normally decide on which hairdresser to visit by peering inside to have a quick look at what gowns they are using. Unfortunately this has backfired as one time I chose a place, based on the gown, and when I went in there they didn't even offer me one but instead relied on just a towel to keep the hairs off the back of my clothes. Normally when I do go I make sure that I am wearing a short sleeved top or roll my sleeves up so when I do slip my arms through the sleeves of the gown I can feel that lovely silky material caressing my arms. Recently I have bought myself a selection of silky hairdressing gowns so I can wear them whenever I want to. If this sounds familiar to anyone else out there I would love to hear from you.

I love the feeling of sitting in a hairsalon, with a satin cape tied tighly around my neck covered by a satin or plastic shoulder cape. Amazing feeling.
