Also, I got this white silk dress here not too long ago as well as I thought I'd share a photo of that too! It has several mishaps to it so I'm hoping the cleaners could get them out. You might not be able to see them, but it is kind of noticeable at the bottom of the skirt.

I do need to clarify that as I'm sure most of you all would assume that I created those mishaps. Haha, in certain ways I'd love to but rarities like this is impossible for me to give into temptation. It arrived with the spots embedded in the dress.

The package it came in was not good as the dress would be flopping around inside the box and the tissue paper wasn't wrapped properly. They said it was never been used but upon inspection after receiving it was made clear that it has.

Evidence on that? Best indicator was that the photos of the eBay page still had the rubber hanger straps intact and the dlooked completely new. After opening the package, the straps were cut off. Clear indication that it has been worn!

Anyways, just thought I'd clear that up...not like it would matter to some but i figured it should be noted. I'll be posting others I own later on!

Good thing it was just a dress I already have like 10 of LOL!

Got 3 fresh photos of my collection you guys...with the nice silk sheet background for the added touch like my previous shares here. These are all my firsts of their kind.

First up, my first real pure silk satin "Marilyn" style dress. This was the complete start to my whole collection of them! Mid-calf length and full circle skirt really drew my attention to find more like it! It "was" fully lined in a polyester georgette lining until I cut the skirt lining out. If we're going to go full Marilyn, there has to be no lining at the skirt!



Next up, my first of the search of this particular designer and designer affiliates of the collection that really kicked off! It has everything you need to get the full silk/satin Marilyn effect! Double lined with the same fabric at the halter top and waist so that the soft satiny side rests on the wearer's breasts and waist and unlined at the skirt, making it perfect to wear if one stood over a fan or subway grate!



Here's a couple of photos of certain satin based websites that utilized this same color and designer silk dress. Reason why I point them out...yours truly has sent them in!





Last, but not least, is my first real pure white dress! I paid a lot for this particular dress cause it was the only one I could find at the time and it was a long while back! I tried to get real photoshoots with it but none seemed to fit the bill. Hopefully with my newly acquired white one that is not this exact one here will do a lot better...if I do send that one in.

Finally took the time to gather up a few more photos for you guys of some of my collection. This time...it's my favorite printed pure silk satin dresses that I own. These were tough to find in the end as the first ones were easy...the last couple were a tough choice. They all feel amazing though the ones I picked out stand out more IMO. Others will beg to differ but sometimes one thing edges out over another.

First up...my absolute favorite printed dress! I would love to see a woman wearing a silk dress like this! It's one of the best feeling printed dresses I have...possibly the top 3 out of the printed dresses for its smoothness, though one dress tops that which I will share after this one!



Next up is the smoothest and lightest printed silk dress I have come across! I really love the feel of it and for a printed dress, it says a lot! Being very light, it's super flowy so that's an added bonus for me as I love flowing silk!



This one is the most colorful of all the dresses...very floral and pretty! Now for a dress, it may not have the full circle flare to it, but it does flare out enough for me to love to have in my collection! There was another very nice floral dress from the same designer I've seen listed on eBay not long ago. It wasn't the exact print but it had that same colorful effect on it that was like this particular one...but sadly I didn't have the money and someone nabbed it before I could even attempt at buying it.



The last one was tough to choose, though I chose this one over the other. Reason being, the way it looks for a print just screams silky smooth and this one has that over the other one. You can tell from the look of the dress here that it is! That's why I chose this one over the other. The other one is floor length! Even though it's very smooth, I chose the smoother one! Like I said...tough choice. I will later on show the floor length gown along with a few other "non-Marilyn" but full skirted dresses!

Love them all. So special and truly amazing indeed

I really like the last one. Its very pretty and the colour is amazing. I have always felt that anything in silver (or white/ivory) colour is very innocent looking and makes a gown and/or dress that much more attractive. Mmm, so hot.

Plus the silk backdrop that you use really brings the colour of the silver dress to life. And it helps to catch the eye and bring everything to the forefront. Awesome work!

Well done on the collection and look forward to seeing a lot more of them. Cannot wait...

Can't beat this beauty for $7.00! It does have a tear on the sleeve (states it can be easily fixed), but it's not like I'm going to wear it lol!

Happy 1100th post!

Well, I just got motivated to post several more photos of slightly more unique silk dresses. They all are full circle skirts (a few a little more full) and slightly similar to a Marilyn style...but I love the full skirts and these are a little more...unique...in that category. So...first things first, the shortest dress...

This green dress is very nice indeed! This one is the shortest of the dresses I have as I had plenty of room to shoot a picture of it with it fully spread out as you can see here! There is also a nice surprise below this pic here...



One of the nicest things about this dress is that...it's fully lined in the same silk as the outer shell as you can see here...



The next dress is a gorgeous bright gold dress! I got it real cheap because this designer brand is known to be very expensive! Such a soft and smooth gold dress too!



Next up is one of my more rare finds...it's got sleeves, there's one button in the back of the neck but backless and the skirt goes all the way down to the ankles! It's a more heavier silk satin charmeuse so it's not as flowy...but it does feel quite nice!



This next dress...I really love having and I'm so lucky and fortunate to be the actual owner of it! A very unique dress indeed! Super soft and flowing brown silk outer shell and the skirt goes all the way to the ankles as well! The real kicker of this particular dress is that, it's lined in black silk charmeuse, while the skirt lining is also in silk...silk habotai. Those of you guys who are unfamiliar with silk types, this one is pretty much the exact same silk that was made into silk blouses and shirts that was a popular trend in the late 1980's through the 1990's. Both guys and girls were wearing these silk shirts! Underneath this photo is another with the lining showing. The lining is also a full skirt so that's a bonus there as well! Bought it for $30...the tag read close to $1000!!! Talk about a lucky find!!!





Last, but not least...the exclusion of one of my favorite printed dresses is down below! Super full and floor length...yards of silk used there (though there's a few silk skirts that can be debated that uses more yards than this dress! You can tell it's large cause of how much I had to step back to get this picture of it! The same designer that made that gold dress up further in this post reply here.



Those are my more unique full skirted silk dresses I own! Next up will be pleated silk dresses I own so hope you guys like these ones here and look forward to the pleated ones!
