New member from down under

Post by Trigger »

Hi all,

Well, I've told a little white lie... I'm not exactly a new member, I've been reading these forums for a while but haven't ever posted before.
As the title says, I'm from Australia and I'm obsessed with satin... I have a large collection of slips, gowns, dresses and more and I am extremely fortunate that I have a wife who shares in my obsession - she has quite the collection of her own!
In fact, we have so many that we are considering clearing some space for more by selling a few on ebay... Stay tuned, I'll let you know first when we do.

I have to say a big thank you to the creators of this forum and everyone involved because it has given me a real insight into my satin fetish and has made me see that I'm not the only one in the world feeling this way. It's nice to know that there are so many guys out there who share the same or similar obsession as I do!

Well, I'm pretty certain that I'll be hanging around for a while longer if that's ok.

Just for fun, here's a couple of photos of some of my latest ebay purchases, enjoy. :D

HI there,

Eagerly waiting for your collection to be put on Ebay. I'm from Singapore so I guess shipping costs won't be a total killer :P

Hi Trigger,

I'm in Oz too. You east or west?

Let us know when you're selling on ebay - would be interested in bidding.

Very lucky to have a woman that feels the same as you about satin. Did it come up quite quickly in your relationship, or did you take a while to admit it, and to your surprise she said 'me too!'?

I have a load of satin sheets and dresses too.

You've been reading the forum for a while, but you didn't search first to see if there were any relevant threads before posting? ;)

I'm on the east coast... I'll post a link to our ebay profile as soon as we sort out what we want to get rid of and what we want to keep.
Believe me, I know how lucky I am! It took me about 6 years to work up the guts to sit her down and tell her about it but she was really good about it, and it took her a little while to get into it but now we both love it. It's a big weight off your shoulders when you finally tell her about it (especially when she's keen to share in it with you).

Sorry, I didnt know I had made a "mistake". I guess being a "newbie" here I thought I was just introducing myself and adding in some extra photos for a bit of fun... I didnt know there were rules about how and where you can put them. :?

I'll keep it in mind for next time.

[moderator note: welcome to the forum - you are of course welcome to make new threads here. The thread referenced by Freddielinton above is a good place to show off your current collection. If you are trying to sell particular items, then feel free to also make a post in the "Satin Shopping" section with a link to your eBay auctions/etc ]

Introduction is fine, but any pictures of your satin collection should go in the Post Your Satin Collection Thread. It's right on the front page. The problem is that new people join and not a single one of them searches the board to see if there are any similar posts first. Thus, this creates a problem because we get bogged down with irrelevant posts and it makes the important posts go further down the page. Feel free to post your hauls in the collection thread.

Thank you.

Well, we've posted some items on ebay and my beautiful wife has modeled some of them for me... Here's a link to our profile - http://myworld.ebay.com.au/triggerr32
We're still working out what to put up next (there's a lot to choose from) but we will have more new items available about every week... I'll keep you updated if you like :)

Here's a few free previews of my gorgeous wife showing off some of the current items on sale... Enjoy! ;)

God damn your wife has a smoking petite body. You're a very lucky guy. I'm loving these eBay links and I wish I could buy some of those dresses, but I'm sure shipping from AU to the US would be a lot. I would love to see more pictures of your wife in satin.....any chance you'd post more pictures of her? Just wondering. :D

Hey, don't worry we have plenty of nice items to come yet. We'll be clearing out quite a few more soon... You can save your pennies until then :)

Hey Freddie,

Thanks, she'll be flattered by your comments. I certainly am a very lucky guy, I wasnt kidding when I said that she's gorgeous (but I'm a little biased I suppose). You never know, I might be able to convince her to model a few more items in future, I'll keep you posted ;)
International shipping is only about $12-$16 AU (uninsured) if you're interested in any of our items.
