1970's Style Satin Blouse

Post by seasideshow »

Ninie would look great in one of those 1970's blouses with the big billowy sleeves gathered into the cuffs, these look great for showing off the gloss of the satin and would go well in any colour, especially gold, silver or the pastel colours.

I love the 70s and 80s blouses. I remember 82 when the victorian blouse era was out. I bought then a satin button back blouse. Size 12 then ha. I love the high neck and big sleeves. One day i went out lateish wearing it along with a leather look skirt on ( i couldnt afford a real leather one). I walked for a long while on main roads ,but in those days i could just about get away with it.

I'm also a huge fan of formal blouses from the '70s and '80s. Back then, blouses were often made not from satin but from a thin, very slippery polyester that was equally slippery on both sides. Sometimes, only certain elements of these blouses were satin, such as just the collars or cuffs, which added to the beautiful look. I have several of these blouses, and they're so fantastic that every time I wear them barefoot, their wonderful feel brings me heavenly pleasure.
